is something interesting that I have in my collection. It is from a
Franklin Heirloom Society Doll Collector's booklet from 1989. In it is a
story about a man named Carl Vivaldi and his Oz collection.
This man
claims, or at least the article claims, that he has "one of the six pairs
of original ruby slippers from the movie." If they're talking about the ones
in the picture, then it's pretty obvious he doesn't. They're covered
with glitter as well as silver stones around the bows.
